Family Love Kennel is a small family owned kennel. After raising Burmese cats
for 15 year I was ready for a change so I decided to get a pet and after much
research decided Cockapoo was the dog for me. After getting Bailey we decided
he needed a friend. We then called Rhonda and got
Mishka--Bailey's buddy. By the way Mishka means Teddy Bear in Russian and
she is just that. Our delightful "princess" who we adore.
After realizing all the pleasure our two pets brought us we decided to raise Cockapoos to share the joy. So once again we went to Rhonda and bought a breeding pair; Connor and Casey. Connor weighting 14 pounds is white with buff ears and Casey who weighs 11 pounds is all black. We had our first litter this summer and what pleasure these little ones gave us. They spent the first 4 weeks in our living room with my husband and myself. We enjoyed every stage of their growth as well as giving them lots of hands on socialization. We also have lots of friends and family who come over often to help with the socialization. We feed Eucanuba Puppy Kibble starting at 4 weeks of age as mother gradually weans them. We let our puppies go at 8 weeks of age after they have been wormed 3 times and given their first vaccination. The puppies will be sent home with a "puppy packet" which includes a small blanket and a stuffed toy that they have played with here at the house so it has their scent on it making the transition to your home as easy as possible. Included in the pack is a small sample of the food they are eating as well as handouts which should answer many questions I know you will have. But I do want to emphasize I am here to help in any way I can as I want the transition to be a happy one for you and your new family member. My goal is to have 3 breeding females with my one stud. Each of these females will be a complete outcross from each other. My second female is chocolate and was purchased out of state. My third female will be purchased from Pam Stewart of Stews Poos.
